Brandon Cavins
Club Director – High School Head Coach Girls
Coach Cavins started his coaching career in 2003. Coach Cavins won a Girls’ Lacrosse state championship at Ridge View High School in Columbia, SC in 2005. He was named Girls’ Lacrosse coach of the year for South Carolina in 2005. Coach Cavins was the head coach for Houston High School from 2006-2009 before beginning to coach at St. George’s in 2010 where he helped lead the girls to a state championship. In 2015, Coach Cavins began as assistant coach at Braircrest Christian School in 2015 and was named head coach in 2016
Jenny Coffey
Assistant/Goalie Coach – High School Girls

Coach Coffey was a member of Briarcrest Christian School’s first girls’ lacrosse team and played goalie. She graduated from Briarcrest in 2010 and attended Ole Miss where she majored in education and also received a Master’s degree in 2014 from Ole Miss. Coach Coffey was the Head Coach for the Briarcrest Developmental girls' lacrosse team in 2016 and has held the position of Assistant Varsity and Goalie Coach for the Briarcrest Varsity Women's Lacrosse team for the last seven years.

Alexis Sweda
Assistant Coach – High School Girls

Coach Sweda played for Houston High School from 2004-2008 and was a team captain. She continued to play throughout college at Birmingham-Southern College, a Division III program located in Alabama, from 2008-2012. She holds the record for most minutes played at BSC and again held the title of captain. She received the SCAC All-Academic Award each year of college play as well as the SCAC Offensive Player of the Week Award for Division III players. Post college, Coach Sweda worked at St. George’s (2016’s State runner-up) as the Assistant Head Coach for their Varsity program and the Head Coach of the Junior Varsity program from 2012-2015. In 2015 she was hired as the Head Coach for Houston High School and took her team to the state playoffs and made it to the second round. In 2016 Coach Sweda was hired as the Assistant Varsity Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator for Briarcrest Christian School and helped the Saints to the first round of the state playoffs. In 2021 Coach Sweda was hired as the Assistant Varsity Head Coach for Arlington High School.

Brannon Lamb
Assistant Coach – High School Girls

Coach Lamb started playing lacrosse in fifth grade on Bainbridge Island, Washington (small island a bit west of Seattle). He continued to play while attending University of Memphis for the club team, and still plays whenever he gets the opportunity. Coach Lamb graduated in 2017 with a degree in Supply Chain Management-Logistics. He began coaching four years ago for the Arlington Girl’s Lacrosse team, where he has been the Head Coach for all his tenure.

Todd Jones
Assistant Coach – High School Girls

Coach Jones is a US Lacrosse certified head coach. He’s been with White Station High School Girls Lacrosse for 7 years. 2 years as the JV coach and the last 5 years as head Varsity coach. This will be his third year on the staff at Memphislax.

Cheyenne Kowalewski
Assistant Coach – High School Girls
Coach K was a member of Collierville's first girl's lacrosse team and played midfield from 2009-2012. She was decorated as a four year varsity captain, three year MVP, and also earned all-region and all state awards. She furthered her playing career at Tennessee Wesleyan College gaining Rookie of the Year for the Appalachian Athletic Conference and first team all-conference selection in 2013. Cheyenne continued to grow the sport of women’s lacrosse by helping recruit and build the program at Tusculum University her sophomore year. During the inaugural season, Cheyenne claimed awards of captain, second team all-conference for the South Atlantic Conference, and multiple offensive player of the week awards. Cheyenne finished her career setting university records like the highest draw control percentage in the conference in her junior and senior season and tallying over 100 points in two seasons. She ranked 38th nationally in draw controls in NCAA DII. During her summers, Cheyenne coached a travel team out of Gatlinburg, TN. Following her collegiate career, Cheyenne joined the community in coaching in Greensburg, Pennsylvania while earning her Masters at Seton Hill University. She helped lead Greensburg Central Catholic to their first ever state championship bid during her few years there. Cheyenne returned to the Memphis area in 2019 and has since then taken over the Houston High School Varsity Head Coach role leading the Mustangs to playoffs during 2021.
Adam Julian
Assistant Coach - High School Girls

Coach Julian started coaching lacrosse in 2013 in Colorado. Adam has over 16 years of experience coaching soccer, softball and lacrosse.  He was the head coach of the girls developmental programs for Westerville Lacrosse Club from 2016-2019. In 2019 he became the goalie coach for Bartlett High School Girls team and an assistant coach for the middle school team. In 2020 he became head coach of the Bartlett Girls programs.

Ron Riley
Assistant Coach - High School & Club Director - Middle School

Coach Riley started coaching lacrosse in 2012 at Briarcrest Christian School. He was hired as the Assistant Coach for the Middle School Girls and the Head Coach for the Developmental Girls lacrosse teams. He has over 13 years’ experience as a girls’ soccer and lacrosse coach. In 2016, he was named Head Coach for the Briarcrest Girls Middle School lacrosse team as well as the Memphis Lax Summer & Fall Team. He helped lead the MemphisLax girls to a Tournament Championship at the Fall Classic Lax Fest in Cartersville, Georgia. In 2021 Coach Riley was hired as the head Varsity girls’ lacrosse coach at St. George’s Independent School.

Sydney Riley
Head Coach – Middle School Girls
Coach Sydney has played lacrosse for almost a decade beginning in the fifth grade. She was pulled up to the Briarcrest Varsity team as an 8th grader and was a starter for all 5 years and a captain her senior season. Throughout high school, she received various honors including being a Team Tennessee alternate, All-Tournament Team at the Indian Prairie Showdown in Chicago, IL, Newcomer of the Year, and the “All-In” Award. She also was an assistant coach for the Briarcrest Middle School team during her time in high school and has experience giving private lessons to younger players. She began coaching MemphisLax Middle School in the summer of 2021. Sydney is currently playing college lacrosse at Birmingham-Southern College, a Division III program in Birmingham, AL.
Catey Welch
Assistant Coach - Middle School
Coach Catey has been playing lacrosse since her 8th grade year, where she was pulled up to the SBA Varsity Team and was a starter all five years she played for them, and a captain for three. She played a year of MemphisLax after her junior year and this will be her first year as a coach for the club. Catey currently plays collegiate lacrosse for the University of Alabama Huntsville, a Division II program in Huntsville, AL.
